Took a trip down to Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World in Auckland in the morning. Not a massive underwater exhibition but interesting for everyone from Carter (aged 2 ) up to the older members of the party. As well as the usual suspects e.g. sharks, rays etc there were penguins, turtles and lots of interesting sealife.

With Abi off on a girly shopping trip, the afternoon saw me tripping up to Pakuranga Country Club with Mana and Nick for 9 holes of golf. Despite some promising strokes, the scores didn't reflect the effort but it was enjoyable all the same. We met up for dinner at the Howick Club with Kirst, AJ, Steve and Mana. There's a strong netball following in New Zealand, so it was all the more enjoyable when the news came through that England, having lost heavily in the first game, had beaten the Silver Ferns to square the series.
