It took us awhile to get all the photos we have wanted from Mom and Gary's camera, as well as ours to do this last entry with them...but better late than never. 😊 They got back into Auckland on Friday afternoon, and that evening we had Melissa's Auckland bday celebration with friends and family. We all went to The Secret Thai Garden, which has amazing authentic Thai food and it set in lush thai gardens. Once you go through the gate, you would never even know you were in Auckland! So that was a very fun night, and gave Mom and Gary the chance to meet everyone that they hadn't yet.
On Saturday the 4 of us spent the day in Devonport exploring the old military base and tunnel system. It was a clear sunny day and we had some great views of downtown Auckland. That night for dinner Paul and Sally had us over for a "sea-food" send-away dinner. Dennis' half sister Kerri and her husband were in town that night, so we were happy to have the chance to spend time with them as well. We had pipis (a type of mussel), crayfish, scallops, red snapper and

Taraki. So yum!
Mom and Gary's flight was Sunday evening, so we spent the day hanging out, checking out the aquarium and doing some last minute souvenir shopping with them. And, as you can imagine, we made quite the scene at the airport saying good-bye. 😉 In brief, that was our whole weekend, and here are (finally) all the photos that go with it.
