Auckland...

Well. the 24hr flight was actually DIRE. i think kates comment as we arrived in Auckland was tres appropriate "if someone offered me a 24hr flight home, i would take it - i would rather be tucked up in bed at home than here!"

Auckland is like portsmouth. a skankhole. But - with volcanoes which makes kate very happy! there is the sky tower, much like the spinnaker tower but more ugly. there are old and new buildings jumbled together, its hot and humid and icky.

its the jetlag/unbelievable exhaustion talking... its not really thaaat bad...😉

We watched the sunset from the sky tower last night, which was absolutely beautiful. many photos to come!!! 😉

we are here for another 2 days (ugh!) then are off to the Beautiful bay of islands... and beyond!

for anyone thats taking bets on how long we are going to last together, we can confirm that we are still talking, and despite the scarastic comments being fuelled by the exhaustion, we are in good spirits!


will update again when i can... we are off to the museum now...*waves flag* ...
