Coffee and Movenpick icecream in Mission Bay and around the harbour up to the headland was a beautiful drive with paths and photo ops aplenty.

A putt putt challenge and some dinosaur taming at Lillputt before returning the car and getting in the taxi the car rental guys had organised to the airport. The boys hit up the BK for a final NZ onion rings feast while Wayne bought the obligatory woolly lamb from the gift shop then it was farewell Auckland and hello Gold Coast (after an hour holding pattern and landing in Brisbane then bussing to Coolangatta).

I really enjoyed our first taste of NZ and we will definitely go back and spend a bit more time exploring.

Putt Putt
I always enjoy going to putt putt with my family. Sounds like a fun place to visit. When I have time, I'll plan a trip with my family. We all love to play golf. Thing is, we don't have much time to do that nowadays, so we play indoors with ball targets from http://shop.annestone.com/collections/putt-a-round
