Look out beloooooow!!!!Look out beloooooow!!!!Look out beloooooow!!!!

Local man grabbing his coconuts!
Hey there everyone!!!!
Well i dont know where to start with the past week!! Its been eventful!!!! We lied to you....again.... last time!!!! We actually didnt do the cruise at all (cause of the rain) and just went straight to Robinson Crusoe Island which was the best decision we made!! The place was stunning... as usual.... but this island is renowned for fun!! And that it exactly what it was!! Arrived on Monday afternoon and got on the drink straight away ... couldn't resist the cocktails in the sun stereotype!!! After the kava ceremony (yes another one!!) we watched an outstanding Fijian dance show where all the locals join in and show Polynesian dancing, fire and machete juggling!! It was unbelievable!! We have photos on here for you to look at... and more to follow!! After that we had a little dance (well i did and Natalie dominated the floor with a wicked Irish guy 'Shane' - you'll hear loads about him later!!) and carried on the drinking. After this (and every night) the local musician Jim, aka the 'horny goat', played guitar with Shane's friend Gary, and we all sang along (especially Natalie - who performed her solo a capella).
The party Island greets us!!!!!The party Island greets us!!!!!The party Island greets us!!!!!

"Paul.... i can see the bar!!!"
Tonights the night Natalie did her skydive....... sadly without a parachute and from a top bunk bed!!!! Knocking herself out and requiring medical attention....... so after 6 hours of travelling back to the doctors, which was exactly where we started from, we arrived back just in time to start the night before festivities all again!!! Well... not the drinking for Natalie!!!

The next day.... Natalie visited the local school whilst i slept off the night before!! Kids sang and did yet ANOTHER Kava ceremony for her!! When will we see the back of this stuff??? Then a group of us including me, nat, sara, and the paddy's went on a kayaking mission out on the open sea!! We headed for some small waves out on the horizon to try kayak surfing... was a bit tame cause the waves were tiny but litereally minutes after saying that some huge waves came out and knocked me, nats, and Irish Shane clean out of the kayaks and washing them away!!! After this excitement.... we decided to kayak the island, but the sensible ones turned back after seeing the mud plain infront.... whereas we decided to take it on, dragging the kayaks over
Kava anyone?Kava anyone?Kava anyone?

Natalie's boyfriend on the left!!!
the mud.... it took forever and in 30oC heat, it was sweaty work!! But we did it much to Shane's surprise!!

Day three, we spent literally all day hand carving coconut shells into jewellery. We both made bangles and i went on to make a necklace too!! And then had the most relaxing 45minute massage which involved the lady scratching mosquito bites, which was heaven even though a bit wierd!! Later that night, we all sat down together and Shane decided to initiate a talent contest ... where everyone had to get up and sing!! And god help you if you didnt... Natalie performed her rendition of Rubber Ducky!! Which was highly entertaining!! That was the last night for most people on the island, which was sad because they were such a nice group.... but we were to experience the pleasure of their company again on the infamous Beachcomber Island, which was right next to THE celebrity love island. Heaven on Earth!!!!! Met straight up with the paddy's, being Siobhan, Evelyn, Gary and Shane!! And had another brilliant night, everyone was singing and laughing and dancing and today saw the grand unveiling of the NOW world famous Natalie cowsuit!! To which many of you may remember from the UK!! It went down a treat and Natalie achieved celebrity status for the night!! More solo singing and ... yep you guess it... Kava drinking!!

Sadly that was the one and only night on Beachcomber AND our last night in Fiji!! :< flight at 3:55 am was slightly annoying but we passed the time by going to our favourite restauant 'Pirahnas'!! So thanx to Jo our favourite waiter!! Had a brilliant time in Fiji but ready to move on............... watch out NZ, there's a cowsuit a-coming!!

What a Laugh!
Hey you guys. YOu sound like you have both being living in paradise and living it up... Hope you're ok Nat...? Well I'm here in New Zealand staying in the region of Wiakato staying with an old dude (who's farm it is) and a really sexy Califonian guy called Reed... I am about to experience learning to drive on the farm in what the old dude calls his 'buggy' which looks something between a tractor and a quad.... i'll keep you posted. Anyway NZ is a very beautiful country I have already been building straw bale buildings in the Coramandal and Gisborne. Today I am in Hamilton about to visit Hamilton Gardens if the rain stays off. I am going to attend Splore Festival (on the beach 73km east of Auckland) between the 17th and 19th of Feb if you fancy meeting up? Let me know where you are heading... South Island is supposed to be beautiful but maybe a bit cooler. Well its been great receiving your travelblogs.. keep it up. I have been absolutely useless when it comes to that at the mo. my email is twirlly@hotmail.com I would give you the phone no. but I will do that another time cos i haven't got it on me. Well I expect you both haven't got much time in NZ but it would be great to try and meet up with you. Lots of love to you both. Leanna.XX
