Another day of rain...

Another day of paradise in the rain - alas, what to do to keep us entertained. We did go snorkling by the reef on our beach - quite amazing things down there (makes you think twice when you go swimming in the ocean). Then massages on the deck shielded by the rain, a delicious lunch, reading time (I finished Suite Franccaise - i enjoyed it, the story behind the book and its author is the best part), a game of scrabble (Dan won, i give credit where credit is deserved), a nice nap, another delicious dinner (chicken & prawn sushi, tomato soup with home made rolls, deliciously cooked fillet wiht potatoes and a mushroom sauce, and white chocolate mousse served in a frozen coconut shell - YUM!).

Throughout the day though, and particularly in the rain, we have had quite a few visitors in our villa - and that doesnt include Jimbo, the owners dog who i adore (helping hte cause in convincing dan to get a puppy of our own when we get home!). We have our resident lizards, each about 5 inches in length, who we affectionately call Emily and Elana. They live in the roof of the villa and only come out when we least expect them. But we have seen a bunch of other little lizards around - near the phone, on the couch, etc - but they aren't as large as the Es. We also have a ton of mosquitos - dan isn't taking too well to them, but they are bareable - but we do have the battle marks to prove our stay. Besides that, we have a nice array of other flying guests, long centipedes, and other wonderful natural creatures.
