Spending the day in Weipa

Hi all, today is a relaxing day at a caravan park in Weipa a small town at the top of Australia. Got up early this morning.(5am just can't shake getting up early) and went for a walk to the beach. I found Matthew already walking around the water. This is crocodile central and I was a little scared about a crocodile coming out of the water and eating us alive. Matthew was all relaxed and given the water was as clear as it could be and so so shallow it was safe to just waddle in the water. Later everyone joined in. The water is so warm.

The tide was going out and the water was so shallow. No crocodiles.

We went to have a look at the pier in Weipa just after lunch. I didn't go but apparently there were heaps of fish and even the larger Baramundi. Looks like some fishing happening tonight.

Tomorrow we go to Pennyfarther beach.
