Melbourne

We arrived in Melbourne yesterday after an overnight flight from Hong Kong. Met at the airport by Stuart and we are staying with him and Ineke in their lovely house. Very modern and typically Australian - open plan and very spacious. We did go for a walk with Stuart by the sea in Williamstown and managed to keep going until 9pm before crashing out! Had a great day today in Melbourne. Weather lovely (23degrees). We got the train and tram into the city. Walked past the venue for the Australian tennis open and to the Botanical gardens. Did a lot of walking in the city and managed to see a lot - lovely city. We are off tomorrow to drive the Great Ocean Road to see the 12 Apostles ( famous landmark in the sea) and are staying in a couple of hotels - back on Sunday, so I'll post some blogs on the way.
