Drove from my cracking camping spot at around 7am to the other side of the park through the back road and bush, was a pretty rough road, about 20 km's there (but felt like 100) no bother for the 4x4 until just before the end, probably a 35% slope down to the beach, worn away by water run off... Parked the car and walked to the beach with my fishing rod, fished till 11ish then drove to Esperance. Stayed in esperance for something to eat at the Pier Hotel, nice place, food 6/10. Getting late i made the 60k journey to the campsite only to find a 'camping full' sign at the entrance, i said bugger it and drove in but literally only standing room, so drove all the way back to esperance as i was so pissed off, booked into a motel for the night... catch some z's before long drive tomorrow.
