The start of the long journey

The first of several beers... For somebody that was not drinking pre marathon Managazzo was setting a fairly hefty pace. 4 beers at the airport, more on the flight to Bangkok, the. More at Bangkok airport. Managazzo was partial to a piña colada hoping that the milk would help him sleep.. I slept the whole next flight, mana not so much.

We almost missed our connecting flight to Berlin. Arrived at the movenpick around 11am but couldn't get into the room till 2pm. We then headed to the other hotel for a race breif. There we met David Reece jones with red hair.

After that lunch and a few tins while we waited for the room. Later in the arv headed to the expo to get our race chip and bits. We got back to the room and we were planning to grab a hours sleep which turned into a full night.
