hello as i am writing this believe it or not i am back in Bali and i have swapped my Auz book for a Indonesia one. We went to Australia with good intentions of finding work and having some good times their, but the country was so expensive that while we where looking for work the money i worked so hard to save for was being eaten away on just the basic living cost. their was no work available even fruit picking because the harvest had been effected by fire's and floods and to travel to the next destination cost a lot because the country is so big. their are no pictures because my days where just spent on the net in job clubs trying to find work. whilst this was going on i was spending 15 pounds a night which was the cheapest in town to live in a really horrible hostel that smelt of damp because the roof leaked and the room was to small to be shared with 6 people two of who snored all night. then the hostel bombarded us with rules about cleaning sheets, paying deposits, losing deposit if we spent to long in the bathroom, the guy that ran the hostel sold our beds one night because we hadn't paid him for that day. i mean like where going to run away all our stuff is in their, at the moment i arrived in our place in Bali we asked how much you want upfront and he replied {just pay when you leave brother}

if i could of done things differently i maybe would of gone to Auz with more money and got a camparvan and traveled freely but we did not have enough money for that when we arrived. i am sure it's a great country but without a job i could not afford to explore it and was stuck in boring cities trying to find work.
the turning point was when we discussed where to go because we didn't like Brisbane and we both had no passion to go anywhere in auz. so we decided to take a positive action and get out and enjoy the time and money we had left. we decided it was spend one month in auz and if we don't get work go home or spend two months in Asia and have a great time. we now have one month to explore Indonesia and then slowly make our way back to Bangkok.

one really great plus was whilst looking for work i found a website where you can apply for english teaching jobs in Korea, china, and Thailand. and i had a great response their was interest in employing me from each country so if i go back to England and want to leave i can, which made the decision to leave Auz easier.

i now feel the excitement again of traveling to place to place and looking for new places to go and it's so cheap here last night i had a t-bone steak meal with a large bottle of beer in bali for cheaper than just one small beer in auz with no steak. i took one picture of my crap hostel room in auz, im going to pay the equivilant in thailand for a room before i come home and put the pictures together to see what you get for your money.

Some people may think it's crazy just to fligh back to asia but i don't care it's my trip and i can go where i wan't.
