Oue trip began at Caves Beach in Newcastle 13th Nov 2006. We both resigned from our jobs, sold our cars, sold most of our "stuff" and moved into Boris. Boris is an 88 Coaster and runs like a dream for his age. Our cats/kids Oscar & Bailey joined us on our 5 day journey down the east coast and into Victoria where we had a house-sitting job for Tab's parents while they went to Fiji.
We did have one escape problem on the way down, Bailey managed to get out of his harness and of course when we opened the door next did a runner! Luckily he stopped dead when he realised he had no idea where he was and Jeff managed to grab him. Despite that, both boys coped very well with their first few days of life on the road.
Since then we have stayed with various family & friends in Melbourne, been on a few trips here and there around Vic including Echuca, Yarrawonga for New Years.
We also went to Tasmania in that time for a three week tour. The boys stayed at "nannas" (Tab's mum & dads) as most of what we wanted to see involved

Now this is the life!
National Parks. It was awesome, definite stand-out places were Cradle Mountain, Freycinet NP & Ben Lomond Ski mountain. It was the most quiet place we've ever been, who cares if it's running 10 years behind the rest of the modern world!!
We depart Melbourne on Tuesday 20th March, new motorbike in tow (XR400), cats on board & loaded up for our journey west. We'll travel the coast road from Torquay and see where life takes us!
