On Renata Grey's balcony On Renata Grey's balcony On Renata Grey's balcony

Renata lives in Sydney and we met her on our last Elderhostel trip to central Europe
Renata Gray picked us up this morning after breakfast. She drove us all around the north Sydney suburbs. Places we had not seen before. We met Renata last October (2005) in Prague on another ElderHostle tour. Obviously she lives in Sydney. An amazing woman. She is 88 and still drives. She dropped us off at the Sydney Opera House Concert hall for matinee symphony concert directed by Chales Dutroit. We didn't have as much time as we would have liked, so we just grabbed a hotdog for lunch before the symphony. Great music selection--Ravel, Hayden, Sebelius, and Bartok.
We then took a cab to Renata's apartment. She gave us snacks and drinks. We met her grandson (Gabrielle) who is living with her--temporarily she hopes. He took pictures for us, and visited some more. We then had a nice home cooked dinner Renata had prepared for us. Then she drove us back to the hotel.
