Introduction to Melbourne and Victoria

After breakfast we got to hear Don's lecture on Melbourne and its state Victoria. He is very thorough with lots of factual information and tongue in cheek stories. Then after morning tea, we visit Rialto tower and the port district. Don had a running commentary on the panoramic view of the whole city. In the afternoon we visit and learn about the Shrine of Rememberance. (basically Veteran's day rememberance site). That evening we viewed a video titled "Australia, the Big Country" and went to bed.
