A lovely place to stretch the legs and enjoy pleasant walks through parkland and gardens.

There are plenty of seats and shady areas to stop and have a rest.

The park cafe is well situated for refreshments.

We spent an afternoon in the park then got a free bus into central Perth.

As the heat of the day reduced we walked home past the WACA cricket stadium over the Swan River and home to Victoria Park.

Kings Park
King Park is one of my favourite Perth spots. I love the view of the city from the Cenotaph. Amazing to think that the park between the city and the river was once the air-strip where all planes to Perth landed.

Kings park
Kings Park is a lovely spot with great views of Perth but we also liked Queens Park.
