Only two hours left! Western Australia has been getting more and more attractive the farther we get from the Nullarbor Plain. Also, Danielle and I also have two seats to ourselves! People got off in Northam, so more room!!
We stopped in Kalgoorlie last night for three hours. We walked around the place and had a beer in a pub with the Canadian girls (Megan and Danielle).
I'm sitting here, eating ryvita crackers, and wishing to God for a chocolate bar. Trying to stick to this diet on train food is impossible. I gave it a valiant effort though.
Sleeping wasn't as awful last night. Maybe cuz I was so exhausted from the night before. I may have permanent back damage from these distorted chairs. We'll see.

Comfort on the train
You get what you pay for on the train. Backpackers usually take the lounge seat and pay $253 one way. A sleeper cabin for backpackers sharing is $956. Backpackers who want the Gold service pay $1241.
