nov 3 and i'm here in claremont library having made the hop. hired car til i can buy van. lovely time with daughter kate saturday and sunday. much to do but slowly. swam saturday in cold but not too cold indian ocean. walked dunes and looked at birds. it won't take long to get these species. new holland honeyeater and another bird grey. today walked mosman forshore for ring-necked parrot and a raptor. crested tern with streamers from back of head, yellow bill, light grey wings. overcast and cool. LOW HUMIDITY.
