Edit Blog Post

well back to the story, going to print some pictures which should have been with the last blog , we carn't always find an internet cafe so bare with us for the updates,
Fremantle- arrived here after looking at a few places on the coast, its about 20mins drive to Perth, found a campsite at woodmans point, there a nice beach with a small jetty so my man can go fishing again!we found a Vw garage up the road the manager was really helpful, it was going to be 2,500 dollars for the valves doing but we had to wait a week, so Neil bought some for a good price as he does, and he decided to crack on himself well what a job,40 degrees and flies all over attacking him, he was a mad man shouting under the campervan throwing tools around , I went for a walk, later that evening I told Neil how bad he was he denied it of course, until later in the camp kitchen a woman said ' have you heard that nutter under that Vw camper" I said this is him, we had a good laugh about it!We went into Fremantle the next day and there

at the underwater observatory
was a parade, with a live band on in the main street, we like it at Fremantle staying for a week.
Rottnest Island - this island is a short ferry ride from fremantle, we had a lovely day there, everyone gets to hire a push bike for the day to get round the island its a great way to see all the Coves, thay have these little animals called Quokkas, they look like tiny kangaroo's,Neil wanted to take his fishing rod( its like another arm everywhere we go!} on the bike with beach bags and that Rod!He caught a puffa fish, we bought some snorkling gear, I had a go but I dont like that furry stuff on the sea bed, well we enjoyed the day.
Perth- went to Perth for the day, it's nice but very busy, strange we had forgotten about Christmas until we saw the decorations everywhere, took some pictures just so my mum knows we havent abandoned it altogether, still its so strange people rushing around to buy presents and Santa sweltering in his suit on a hot day.Had a look around at the Swan bell tower on the riverbank, apparently the bells came from London.
Well were going to head back across the Nullabor soon, so were leaving calling at Kalgoolie next, arrived late at night, it the hottest night so far on the way over we saw a tornado, got to the camp, and set up the tent at the back of the camper, its a conservatory! just relaxing having a few drinks when noticed a woman at the next camper looking over, she was swaying around ( plaiting her legs!) Oh no shes coming over, I got out of the conservatory and asked her what she wanted, Neil was hiding in the camper, Well I always meet them, She asked me over to her campervan, next thing a box of wine came out, I said I must get back, she started whispering in my ear and then the arms came around me, I shot off making my excuses, Neil was laughing hiding behind the curtain in our camper, the woman slept outside that drunk she was out of it!I dont know how I always manage to meet them!Had a look around Kalggolie, its a mining town, with a massive superpit,we had a look from the top, trucks looked like matchbox toys but they had wheels 12 feet high, it was 500 metres deep, after a look around we set off back across that Nullabor to south Australia
