G’day! I am in Australia on another holiday with Laura. As she has already visited a lot of the east coast we are concentrating on the west coast.
We started in Perth where we got over the jet lag and visited Kings Park. After that we got a car and drove north to the Pinnacles Desert. It was really hot there but the scenery was cool (haha!)
After heading back down to Freemantle and visiting Rottnest Island we went inland to Kalgoorie the big gold mining town. That was an interesting place where we saw the super pit where the gold is extracted from and visited the flying doctors base.
After that it was back to the coast at Esperance before we drove back to Perth via Albany, Pemberton and Margaret River. There were some amazing beaches around here most of which were deserted. You don’t have to worry about finding a bit of sand to yourself around here.
Next stop Hong Kong!
