Cobram to Rutherglen

The Lonie Rangers have still been truckin' on but I must confess I have been tardy with our blogs. So I have begun to catch up. This blog goes back to March when we were in Victoria.

How lucky were we to be in this area only days before the Mini Tornado hit? We arrived15th March and moved on 18th of March. On the 20th March, towns were flattened and caravans upturned. We truly are blessed.

Arrived at Police Paddocks, Gooramadda State Forest. We are so happy to be away from the heat, dust and flies of the Murray River. Loved our camp fire and the need for a jumper. The island in front of us was once used to rest the police horses in 1880's.

Duck Shooting

Victoria allows duck shooting and unbeknown to us today was open day. We were awakened at 6.30am by gunshots. It was as if we were in a war zone. I am not a fan.
