So four seasons in one day is true. One minute it was raining, next minute it’s sunny and warm, then it’s a cold wind and rain again! Actually most of the time it rained when we were there. We did manage to go for a bike ride for 18 miles around the outskirts of the city and got to see lots including an old convent where we encountered a pay as you feel restaurant - Lentil As Anything . All around the concept of customers paying what they can afford for a meal and helping out refugees. We visited a Buddhist temple, drank some lotus tea then went to the meditation room where Laura nodded off! We went to the Queen Victoria market (aka Aussie Romford market) where we gave in and got some nice warm clothes as Melbourne was just too cold!
