G'day....
WOW - What a scorcher. It's been the hottest heat-wave in Melbourne's history. We had almost a week of 44 degrees, our bedroom hovered around 38 most nights.
The air conditioning at work packed in, so no respite there and this week was the start of my driving ban, so you can imagine what an hour of cycling twice a day is like in that sort of heat. Oh well, only another 4 weeks to go then I can have my car back.
It was Emma's birthday on Friday, we had a BBQ on Saturday to celebrate Emma's and my birthdays. We all had a great time and put away plenty of Ozzy booze.
Emma's parents, Grace & Jim, are over visiting us at the moment so we took them to see Huckleberry on Saturday morning. He was as cute as ever. We pick him up on Friday - we're very excited.
There is also news on the house.....but that's for the next blog.
Well, it's cooled down to mid 30's now, which is a whole lot more manageable.
Catch you all later, and here's some more pics & video of little Huck,
mini-0 - Hucks House
Hucks daytime prison (whilst he's still little).
