Forgot to post some photos of our 4 wheel drive course onto the web! Some of you may find them interesting.... we certainly found it an interesting day, and did things we never dreamed we could do in a car! (driving I mean...) Didn't get photos of our sand, mud and water crossings which were also great fun!

Travels with Kate and Blu

We travelled around Australia in 2008 in a 4WD and caravan, a wonderful trip over 11 months and 50,000 km! In 2013 we embarked on another adventure, travelling through Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, then whipped through central Europe to the UK and Ireland, a trip of 6 months. ( still some chapters to write up 2 years on). Not sure what is next..... 2015. What came next was a 3 month trip to the UK, with the main goal being to walk 300 km across England on Wainwrights Coast to Coast route! Highlights were the walk, a visit to Jersey and a week in Russia. Am working on co... full info

Good onya!
Well done - I am too gutless to do that - but maybe I should send Don on a course! Where are you expecting to use this knowledge - are you planning to go off road? Anyway - it looks like fun...sort of.

Thanks Olys! Nice to hear from you! Yes it is me in the 4wd mainly as Blu took most of the photos but we did the same stuff - it was so cool! - and I was the only girl too!! Love to you all

Hi Marge - yeah hope to do some off road and just to have the skills to drive on roads like the Oodnadatta Track or on beaches with confidence ! And it was heaps of fun! Love Kath
