Dec 14. Went to city more in hope than expectation. Tried Age, Big Issue and City Weekly. Hot early then southerly cool. St. Kilda spruik ok. Sent all donations to Perth to pay for more stickers. Pleasant evening rain finally came. Had to wish for deluge to put out fires. Met couple St. Kilda night markets who had gotten sticker in Metung. She was the one who stood up for me when some idiot was harassing.
Dec 15. Day in St. Kilda, Acland St. Met people who had gotten stickers in Port Douglas, Newtown and Sydney beach. One bloke reported sighting sticker as he crossed Murray in Albany. Trying times this week. Frustration. Travel weariness? Year on the road. Have to grit teeth and carry on. Cold weather always a struggle. Tassie looks grim on the weather map. Lows 6-8. Booked to go on the 25th. Have to get some more cold weather gear. 24 years in Perth. I'm used to perfect weather.
Dec 16. Kate daughter not coming to Tassie. Good. I'll not be required to wait. Acland St. ok.
