hello everyone, sorry its been a while since ive posted anything. I guess when i started this blog i was on holiday and exciting things were happening almost every week - sadly that dream has died and melbourne winter has taken over. The change had alot to do with starting my new job as well, as im now working 5 days instead of 4, which means work takes alot more time out of the week than used to! I have managed to adjust to this new lifestyle now though by making the most of the weekends. Another reason i haven't written anything for a while is because i haven't taken any photos for a long time, and i was fairly confident people didn't want to read a few paragraphs of pointless rambling - which is what this is now becoming...

In summary the last few months have been alot of fun, we've had a fairly steady flow of visitors which has kept things interesting, and the international film festival finished a few weeks ago which was very good. however stu and i are both looking forward to the warmer weather, spring carnival and hopefully some road trips in my newly appointed work car (yes the rumours are true, it's a kia).

here are some photos from my birthday (sorry there aren't many photos, i only remembered to get the camera out at the end of the night, but at least it's something!) and a ski trip to falls creek a couple of weeks ago which tom (cousin) and brett (bunnings dude) came over for, was great so see them both and apart from tom's run-in with the back of a skier's head we all had a great time.

finally - thanks for the happy birthdays, ryan - if youre reading this i hope youre alive and enjoying japan, christian - look forward to your arrival shortly! and ro & andrea - hope youre enjoying youre european adventure, i've been getting the emails just haven't written back yet sorry... and look forward to seeing some of you in perth later this month!
