Living in Melbourne

Hey Guys


Sorry we haven't blogged in a while but we have not really be up to much worth blogging. I am working for Blue Tongue entertainment , a games company making the next Spongebob Square Pants game. Claire is meanwhile working her way through many different jobs. So far she has been doing telesales, working in cafes and tomorrow she starts a new job selling gifts to business people. Hopefully that will go well, she should have a laugh anyway.

We are both fine and coping well with living in Australia, now that we are working it feels much less like we are travelling and more like normality. We are trying to save hard for the next leg of the trip but occasionally treat ourselves to an excursion. We went to visit the Melbourne Zoo, which is quite cool and you will see the animal pics, we visited the Crown Casino complex in central Melbourne (don't worry guys Claire kept me on a tight leash) and we saw a hip hop show at the Melbourne comedy club.

The Crown Casino is massive and has every gambling game under the sun. We went at midday and the inside of the Casino fells more like midnight. The hip hop show Break! was amazing, the dancing was good but for me the beat box guy was worth the ticket price alone. Anointed S can pretty much make the sound of an orchestra with the sound of his voice. So we haven't just been all work and no play, but pretty much.

Watching the World Cup has been difficult as all the games are on in the very early morning. A the way England have been performing does not help you stay awake, but we are still in it, COME ON ENGLAND! Bring on Portugal!

Hi Guys
great to have news at last!! Glad all is going well. Zoe back safely after 60ft waves and 70mph winds -the boat only went over once apparently so all was fine!! Dad off sailing at weekend for a week. Glad to hear from you at last. You don't mention making contact with Peter and Yvonne Loncraine. Glad you seem to be having fun and I hope are getting richer. I am off on a 2 week Cruise to the Baltic on Monday 3rd. I am looking forward to St Petersburgh in particular. Keep on trucking guys. I think of you lots. Love Torty
