Melbourne!!!

We flew into Melbourne very early on Monday December 15...And we probably should not have given NZ such a fond farewell...Luckily, once again...We both were able to snatch a full row and take a proper sleep before arriving in Australia...Our friend Mark picked us up from the airport and took us to a wonderful welcome breakfast...From there we got our stuff settled and headed on a walk to South Yarra to see friendys!!! Noreen, April, Shayna and Lauren are all working and living in the area so we visited them all at there respective works and then headed to a seafood restaurant for lunch...That night Elizabeth and I went to Mexican food with Scotty and returned back to their apt for some drinks...The next day Elizabeth and I went with Mark to the city for some Christmas shopping...That night Noreen invited us over for dinner with a bunch of friends from home...It was really nice to see some familiar faces during the holiday season...Not to mention Noreen made (sorry Mom) THE BEST seafood tacos I have ever had...That night we met up with some friends from Brazil for drinks and then headed home...The next day Elizabeth and I walked to South Yarra to do some shopping...Our favorite store...The under $25 shop...and with the American discount of 30% (the exchange rate)...That makes everything within our budget...For dinner Scotty treated us to a nice dinner at a restaurant/bar called Fog...It was luxury...Something the both of us have been missing...Some of his friends from work met up with us...It was nice to finally put some names with faces...The next day we walked to South Yarra to run some errands and then got ready to go out with Scotty...That night he took us to a holiday party for everyone at work...From there we went to a really fun club called Boutique...Thank God we dressed up cause otherwise we would have stood in line in the freezing cold for at least an hour...For the rest of the night we danced to 80s music and then headed home...On Saturday Elizabeth and I went to the beach and then went with Scotty to do some Christmas shopping...After a failure of a trip we headed over to his parents house for a nice dinner...They were sooo wonderful and stuffed us with appetizers, a delicious meal and the best dessert...Not to mention our wine glasses were never empty...It felt like we were right at home...They made us feel like we were part of the family...Following dinner we took a jacuzzi before heading home...By the way...Scotty just bought a Porsche Boxter...So we have been riding around Melbourne like Queens...haha...Every guy that passes us by stares at Scotty while giving us all the thumbs up...haha...Tomorrow we are going to head to Tazmania for a few days before Christmas...Hope everyone is well!!! Merry Christmas!
We missed you two over the holidays, but it sounds like Dr. Mark and Dr. Scotty are taking good care of you girls. We are having taco night tonight for all the college kids home on vacation, we need you here to make your fabulous guac! Can't wait to hear what you do for New Years!
