Hello all

Apols for no recent updates. I've been, and still am, wifi starved and have now got problems loading my pics on to the iPad so I can't do a proper Blog! Such a shame, but I'm working on a solution.

In the meantime a few pics that I've taken on the iPhone and a quick resume of some highlights.....

- a brilliant wet, sunny, cold, hot 4 days in Tasmania - wonderful scenery, interesting history, exciting climbs in forest air walk and swinging bridges and a great Airbnb host Yvette in an historic house in Hobart

- wonderful times being shown the city of Melbourne by Flo. It is mad, busy, colourful, exciting, cultural, arty, mad mad mad!! The trams are awesome and I'm even finding my way around on them. Great to meet up with Stephen Coombs and with Shea Muir. Good times! Done the museum and 007 exhibition, Eureka Sky tower (scary), roof top bars, cool Lygon Street and great cakes

- Flo gave me a lovely Welcome Party and got to meet all her fabulous friends. What a fabulous lot they are!

- great one day wine tour to the Yarra
valley? Beautiful day, great experience

- fabulous two days with dear Pat and Gordon in San Remo. I was their bridesmaid in 1971 in Southport and we haven't seen each other for .. well, maybe 40 years. They gave me such a wonderful time. Seen all the Australian animals and had a wonderful night watching the penguin parade on Phillip Island. thank you both for your generous hospitality... So wonderful to have been with you

Flo and house mate Sophie have included me into their lovely home in South Yarra area. Very trendy and cool and am loving being with them (and now also friend Kerry) and being part of their lives. We had a great night for Sophie's birthday at an open air cinema with a sing a long Grease - beach, sunset, picnic, moonlight, 100's of people.... Awesome!

Can't wait to share some pictures with you all but hope these few will do for the moment :-)

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO PAM. ALSO SOPHIE AND HER FRIENDS :)
Hi. Have loved reading your blog. I tried replying on my phone but don't think it sent it. Love all the photos and so pleased you had such a good couple of days down here. Its still lovely and sunny, but we now have a cool sea breeze which is very welcome. It was hot last night going to sleep, so I put the portable air conditioner on for a couple of hours. All good at the surgeon's and I went across to the hospital and booked in for January 4th. Hope you all have a lovely weekend, and then a very happy Christmas. I think its to be 26 on Wednesday so you should get your Aussie Christmas at the beach. Oh by the way, I have found your scarf down the side of the sofa. Its light coloured back ground with brown flowers. Shall I post it to you? If so, just email me Flo's address. I am not sure how else I can get it to you before you leave. Much love, and thank you again for making the time to come down and see us. God bless, love Pat xx

It's so wet here I can't believe it's only 5 days until Christmas. Co-op Juniors finish on Saturday -I'm sure they missed you being there. We certainly missed you at the book club recommendations evening. Lots of love to Flo, and to you of course. Hassina xxx

Ho Ho Ho!
Hi Pam and Flo! Pam, your pics are brill - love the one of you two - you could be twins (admittedly with a slight delay between the deliveries!!). Here it's warm, windy and wet and all the Chittock girls are home which is LOVELY, although a mattress-on-floor situation as we'd already put some beds in storage. Sposed to be moving a couple of weeks ago but it collapsed (the chain not the house!) so we're still here and have unpacked a bit. Ruth and Euan have a flat above the Shapla which they really like. Flo, Helly is currently having Brunchmas with Liv, Claire and Joe Leat! Have a fab Christmas in your cozzies and enjoy that sunshine! Dinga linga linga dingdongding (Phil Spector, obv) LOTS OF LOVE FROM THE CHITS XXX
