Proposed Route

The proposed route for the 1st stage....I jump off at Darwin while Steve and Richard just keep on going.
17 Days to go and Richard is busily preparing the trailer (while renovating his home)
I'm trying to organize the outboard servicing....boat shop still waiting on some parts from Honda.

Steve (Grappa) Richard (Hotpants) and George (Kavla...don't ask) are heading off on an Odyssey to the Top End. Preparation for this trip has been intense. (quote "We've had to learn how to fend off Crocs with a bowie knife while carrying a "slab" back to camp......even worse, we've had to give up "stubbies" and learn how to drink out of cans !!...it's like learning how to walk all over again...!!!... full info

Well Steve is still outside and its 6pm, dark and cold. But the false flooring in Pedro (aka 4WD) is finished and the roof racks are almost there. The rollers for the boat are done and he is finishing off the 12V douvalakies for the dash...
