at 8.op.m on sunday 18th september we arrived , very tired, we got a taxi to the hotel , it said when i booked it on the internet it had a bar, there is no bar at the ibis hotel on bourke street, 1st disapointment, internet connection in all rooms, 2nd disapointment, and carmel would love the veiw, her being used to looking at skips , we overlooked a yard with wheelie bins,still the hotel was quiet the rooms were clean the breakfast was wonderful.It was also handy for the free trams that run around Melbourne. Our first job on the monday was to open a bank account, we had arranged to transfer some money from england ,but first we had to have an account in australia, we could only open this when we arrived,we told
