View of London Arch We rented a car and drove all the way from Melbourne to Port Campbell, it was about a four hour drive. The reason that we went to Port Campbell was to see The Twelve Apostles. The Twelve Apostles are a group of natural limestone rocks that are just off the coast of Port Campbell on the Great Ocean Road. They have been naturally formed by erosion and waves pounding into them over the years. The one that looks like a bridge used to be called London Bridge, because it was connected to the mainland and formed a bridge over the ocean. After the bridge collapsed its name was changed to London Arch. We arrived at The Twelve Apostles around sunset and got to see the sun set right behind them, it was gorgeous. Then we woke up that morning and drove to London Arch. Also, while driving down the Great Ocean Road we pulled over several times to take in some sights. Some of these sights included: a grotto, a light house, and several other rock formations that were just off of the coast. All of these sights were as
breathtaking as the next.
