Greatest Dolphin Picture EverGreatest Dolphin Picture EverGreatest Dolphin Picture Ever

This is the coolest picture that I have ever taken. It was taken at the end of the dolphin show when all of the dolphins jumped up into the air.
Today MC and I went to the Sea World that is out here in the Gold Coast. It was a great time; we saw pretty much every attraction that the park had to offer. We saw everything from your average fish to polar bears, it was unreal. We went and saw two different shows at the park, they were called "Quest for the Golden Seal" which was very cool and, hence the name, featured seals. The other show that we saw was called the "Dolphin Cove Show" which was one of the coolest things that I have ever seen. The dolphins were amazing, some of the coolest animals I have ever seen, just check out all of the pictures and videos (that's right I took videos and I can put them on the site as well). Another cool thing that MC and I saw was a 4-D movie/ride that was about the planet and animals in both the ocean and in the rainforests and how people need to make an effort to try and preserve their environments. Some of the animal exhibits that we saw were called Shark Bay, Polar Bear Shores, Dugong Discovery, and, simply, The Aquarium. Shark Bay and

Polar Bear shores are both pretty self explanatory; just make sure that you check out the pictures and videos. As for the other two, Dugong Discovery features what Australians call Dugongs, which is basically a manatee and an entire display that is very very informative about Dugongs. After we went to the Dugong Discovery we went to The Aquarium which had a wide variety of animals that included newborn sharks, moray eels, and jelly fish all were awesome. In addition to all of the animals and shows that we saw, we also went on a few rides that the park had. The rides were nothing too special, one was a small water ride with a big splash at the end, and the other one was your basic roller coaster with a loop in it, for some reason MC was laughing for the entire ride, it was hilarious. All in all it was an amazing day, one of my favorite since I have been here; we saw so many cool and interesting things and had a blast while doing it. (Also, make sure you check out the videos, they are located at the top by my icon).

The Giant Shovelnose Ray is one of the most interesting things we saw all day. It looks like a stingray attatched to a sharks body. The Giant Shovelnose Ray is laying next to a Stingray.

This is the only Polar Bear picture that I got. The Polar Bear was playing in the water for only a few minutes then he went over to dig a whole and take a nap in it. He never came out after that... I guess it was a long day for the big guy.

Each posting is better than the one before
Hey Alex, Now this is my favorite posting. Pictures with people, you and MC, lots of them and videos to boot...exciting stuff. This looks like an amazing aquarium. How far was it from your place? Also, one logistical questions, on the video of the sharks swimming before you trail off the fish on the bottom, they each have little baby fish swimming under them...did they just give birth and are those their little baby fishes? Keep the updates, photos and viedos coming and I will let you do another Melbourne type excursion....you know what I mean! Love you loads and miss you too...but I am sure happy that you are having a great time. Take care and talk to you soon, Mom
