Progressive Dinner

The cricket club put on a progressive dinner on Sunday. For those who don't know, this is where you go to 2 or 3 houses to eat depending on the number of courses. We all met at the club around 11am with a slab each. First job was getting the beer in the coolers. After a swift couple we set off to the first port of call which was Pongo's house for starters.
It was another really hot day so it was important to carry a few beers whilst walking to keep the fluid levels up. After a grueling 5 minutes we arrived at Pongo's. The afternoon pretty much carried on in the same vain. Main’s were at Webby’s place and finally ended up at Soc’s house for desert and pool volleyball. All the food was delicious and everyone had a fantastic day. I had to go pretty steady on the beer as I was having a BBQ at marks later on. Still ended up pretty merry though.
