For international students orientation we spent 3 days on the beach! We started out in amazing cottages with great views of the city of Lorne, right along the Great Ocean Road. Outside of our windows were tons of birds who were always ready to be feed, including perching on my arm and eating from my hand. We got to go surfing, I even got up but the water was freezing since it is the middle of winter here. Hiking through the jungle seeing kangaroos, kolas and other animals was great. Finally yesterday after leaving Lorne we went sightseeing to amazing places all over the Great Ocean Road area, including Loch Arc Gorge, 12 Apostles, and other beautiful sights along the road. Not a bad first few days in Australia!
