Well out little music festival down at the hill is over so now i can fully turn my attention to this whole going overseas thing! 😊

thanks to everyone who came, i think i can safely say that everyone had a fantastic time! from our point of view everything ran very smoothly, the only minor problem being the late arrival of the PA...however this was a blessing in disguise because the later start was much better than the original earlier starting time...

all the bands were great...it was so good watching shane play his hand-made slide guitar in the shade of the afternoon sun....tinks and lee..well the consumate professionals never fail to please and showed just how good song-writers they are by playing some of the most full on songs in an acoustic format...god those guys are good. Despite a few late minute line-up changes sweet jane still played a cracker set and the headline act...our little band, The Hill, i think we did pretty damn good...

since i am off oversea's and daniel is moving to morwell, our first gig will be our last one for a little while but definitely not forever...we will be back mid-year...with hundreds more songs...well maybe not hundreds but i know dave already has some stuff kicking around...hopefully my oversea's trip will provide some inspiration..perhaps when i get to Sweden i will write a song called "Everyone Here Is Blonde and Hot" or when i get to Iceland write a sad ballad called "Beer Is Too Expensive To Drink".

Only 1 more day of work now, actually as of now i have officially been here for 1 year...as of tomorrow one year and one day....its been great but 4 months holiday sounds pretty appealing too 😊

again thanks to everyone who came along to the festival and everyone who helped out and most of all to Ambrose and Liz for letting us use their property to play loud (but good) music and drink cold beer. Thanks guys!

Tops Time
Big heads up to John and Co for putting on the weekend for everyone. No doubt we would've all been hiding in some aircon room sipping martini's (right...?,maybe not) BUT instead we somehow managed to get a whole evening of fresh country air, great tunes, lotsa music yabbering and some awesome crew....Twas tough...But we did it. Always a pleasure to play and listen. Peacefully Shane
