Decided to do a drive around today - headed over the bridge towards Loxton and checked out the houseboats on the other side of the river to where the caravan park is.
Then onto Loxton - just an ordinary town but on the Murray River, then headed to Banrock Station Winery, did some tastings and left with 1/2 dozen wines, 3 white and 3 red for $80, not bad for wines bought at a winery. Beautiful setting on 1,800 hectres with 250 hectres under vines - most of the property is wetlands and natural bush.
Had lunch at Lake Bonney, Barmera - just another beautiful setting for lunch. Lots of small ducks swimming around on the lake with the sun shinning over the water.
