Friends joined us for a walk along our local beach at Semaphore on Saturday. Semaphore is a lovely beach (yes I am biased). The water is reasonably shallow and the waves are small. This was a sunny winters day - about 17 or 18 degrees Celcius. Points of interest - the shells, the relatively empty beach, the white sand, the jetty, the Timeball tower, the Angel war memorial, The Palais, the playground, the Icecream shop in the old picture theatre, the new bike track, and the minature steam train that goes up and down the beach front (school holidays).
