Hello All

Since we last posted stuff on this, we have visted Great Keppel Island, which was lovely and quiet... ask Tony and he'll say it was dull :O) hehehe, we were staying in a lovely, plush tent... only problem was the yanks (sorry Stacey - you are obviously excluded from that comment)!

We have since driven up to Townsville - it only took us 10 hours... which isn't too bad going, but we both have fat ankles... water retention I think from sitting on our bums for such a long time!

We have been here a few days, and will be leaving on Saturday to drive the 900 kms to Mount Isa... from here on in the journeys are long and hot... but at least we have loads of water... and are sharing the driving!

From Mount Isa we will be heading North (1300 kms) to a place called Katherine Gorge, apparently it is beautiful.
