Off to the St Lawrence Library this morning for a bit of internet time and even though it's a tiny town the facilities were very good. We had a few odds and ends to take care of so we did not roll out of town until around midday.

Rockhampton was the next major city we came across and although we only stopped for lunch we could not have picked a better spot to refresh. We headed to the city's Botanic Gardens and it was simply stunning. The vast array of small birds in the gardens were not shy and flew down onto our table to try and get a few crumbs from any leftovers.

We then came across a ripper of a spot at a riverside recreation area just out of Calliope where we pulled in for the night. As we head further south it is clearly getting colder of a night so I might need to rethink the shorts and tshirt attire.
