wow...well had manbk 9 hr bus journey from 1770 to airlie beach but finally got off coach ...very stiff and was hit with heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 yeeeaaaaaaa!!! more sun!!!!!!! got straight 2 koalas n saw em n the guys from hervy bay so went to get smoothy n chill, on the beach...i then found heaven....a make your own jewelerry store..n all the wooden jewerrlly omg....i was so hapopy i was in there 4 poss n hour...i met loades of people who i met at either byron n harvy..so was great...had 2 hold back..could have spent way 2 much money in there!! anyways then went to the lagoon..oz have quite a few of these manmade lagoons...and jsut chilled in the sun all day long...was awsome 2 just chilll!! anyways seeing as me n kate had been chilling quite a bit we met up with nick n cass again n desided to have a good night...which we did!!! so anyways on to the good stuff...the whitsundayxs...got on boat at 3 n immedatly strated chattign with this hotchpotch of guys which later became our little group...wasa wsome...seeign as we had such a dull, group on fraser we were so happy...n well we all had the same idea about wot was gunna happen over the next few days...it envloved beer, goon, suncream and snorkels...the snorkels were not just designated to snorkelling...we were able to find another use for them in the bar....i think the bar knew they were in trouble wen 10 people come in at 7 wharing their snorkels n order 10 jugs of beer. i think u get the idea....anyways we were staying on south mole island which is one of the 4 mole islands, north , south, east, west, and this resort was liek 5 star...aaaa and it had its own backpacker bar the other side of the resort..haha..i think it was nessisary!!..aarrr but this place we played golf...badly..tennis, snorkelling, hot tubbing....it was soo good!!! anyways next day we headed off to whitehaven beach...PARADISE..o sorry weather is still incredable btw, omg....absolutly white sand, boiling sun, crystal clear waters..it waas stunning, incredable,,i cant describe it! and then the irish guys on the boat got out their bongo's n guitars...could ask 4 nothing more...was brilliant! we then sailed back n well the snorkells were only used 4 snorkelling this time but i think our bar work put them to better use...snorkelling was a bit pants!..however next day(today) snorkelling was fnatasitc, lots of littel reef fish, quite big bat fish, saw a turtle, n then we were feeding the fish from the boat n these hundreds of fish were jumping out the water..was awsome..anyways not back in airlie after probs the highlight of my trip..o yer bana boated with boys n now were off to the bar...4night in row n i fear there are more 2 come...neways much love hope well xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hi stef well this is the bit i've been longing to read - about the whitsundays - yes it sounds as though the pictures in the brochure really are like that in real life - how fantastic -sounds like you are having a great time and have met up with loads of people to share the adventure - and the beer! no doubt you've taken loads of fotos on that leetle camera of yours so hope we can see them when you get back to the uk - have you been able to take any underwater shots - have a feeling the camera was able to swim and dive! anyway take care and have every bit of fun that's going! - we're sure you will lots of love tsre and o xxxxxxxxxx
