Day Two

After 10 hours of travelling, we finally made it to Townsville. Lorelei travelled surprisingly well but did tell us that she wished she was home instead of in the "stupid car". She also suggested that deciding to go on a holiday that started so far away was "a very silly idea". Today's highlights are getting a whole heap of kilometres done today so that we don't have as much tomorrow and finally glimpsing the ocean. Toni and I also got our first drives towing the trailers today and we didn't hit anything!

We are looking forward to Cairns tomorrow and a couple of days rest. Al has decided that he doesn't like our back end dragging on the ground so he will spend a day installing airbags in the back of the 'Cruiser.
