Not really much to report except that Thursday was Weetwood which is where the entire town gets really dressed up and goes to the horse races. It was kinda fun, but also incredibly lame at the same time. One, we woke up at about 8 in order to get dressed up nicely in time for the 9am Champagne Breakfast. It was delicious. We waited around for about an hour and a half for our taxi to get there. At that point one of the guys was getting really ancy so he called Dominos and the following conversation happened...a gem:
Aaron: Hi, do you deliver?
Dominos dude: Yes we do, sir.
Aaron: Great. Can you deliver 12... people to Weetwood?
DD: Sir?
Aaron: Yea, we were really wanting to get to Weetwood.
DD: Sir if you don't want a pizza I suggest you call a cab.
Aaron: No. No pizzas... Ride... to weetwood.
I think the guy hung up after that but it was completely ridiculous and it passed the time. We finally all ended up splitting into 3 groups and getting rides there from friends. no cab fare!
