Rainbow Beach

Waheyyy....the weather is starting to clear up! AT LAST.....it really is about blooming time!!hehe

There's not really much to report from here as yet......back in Noosa we never got as far as going to the Zoo as the weather was truely awful and it's mostly outside which is rather sad...still another reason to return to Oz! :P hehe

To be honest I didn't really see that much of Noosa at all (other than the main town) as it was pointless going outside unless you wanted a shower that lasted longer then 4mins (water restrictions on showers suck over here!!) I did like Noosa however, and would love to go back there in more welcoming weather someday!!hehe

So far here in Rainbow we have walked up and down the street that is this place!!lol It's quite cute, but I think the main purpose of it is as a gateway to Fraser Island....that's the reason there are soo many travellers here...I reckon we probably out number the locals to be honest!! hehe...go us!!!

Loads of Fraser trips have been postponed due to the weather as the driving conditions on the island are just impossible, meaning that LOADS of people are going to be flocking there come Tuesday!! Megs, Emma and I are going on Wed though so hopefully it won't be quite so hectic by then!!hehe

Anywhoos I must be off...now the weather is being more hospitable to us poor travellers I think I should go and appreciate the lovely Australian landscapes and sea :P

Oooo and just so you know...I'm staying near the murder capital of Australia my friends....forget Wolf Creek and Hostel, Gympie is the place where you need to watch your back!!haha We drove through it on the bus and came out the otherside unscathed so we is well tough mann :P
