Arrived in Noosa from Brisbane on Sunday, the journey took about two hours by bus and I managed to see a little of the resorts along the coast as we dropped people off.

The first day here my host Roswitha who is originally from Germany but has lived in Australia with her husband Klaus for around thirty years dropped me off at the National Park. I started my walk through the park armed with a map and set off along the Tanglewood Trail. About half way round the trail my path came to an abrupt end in a small pond. There had been a lot of rainfall previously and obviously enough to fill a small dip in the path. I was a bit reluctant to wade in not because it looked deep but would probably have got bitten to death by mozzies so decided to walk around it rather than through it. Saw a path on the other side of the pond but no sign but I could hear the sea so decided to take the path anyway. It did in fact lead to the beach, a nudist beach!!! After enjoying the view proceeded along the beach to the headland returning to the pathway once again.

The pathway followed the coastline with the forest on one side and the ocean on the other. On the return journey I saw a lady staring in to a tree, it's a koala she said. At first I couldn't see it as it was so well camouflaged but then I saw it ahhhhh so sweet.

What a sweet little animal.
We're watching a special on public TV about the animals in New South Wales. Fascinating. I envy you.

Walk through Noosa National Parl

Nice photo of Noosa Park!
hello, my name is Sara Vitali, I am Italian and I am working in Brisbane for Tony Charters & associates. We are organising a conference in Noosa (in November) about sustainable tourismo and I am looking for photos to use in our social network (linked in and facebook especially). I am currently looking for a photo different than beaches and ocean, we are full of them. I was wondering if we can use yours (Walk through Noosa National Parl) for our next post on fb. Waiting forward your answer Sara Vitali
