Hey everyone,

Well after Airlie beach we had one night stop over in rainbow beach which was literally getting there late having dinner a couple of drinks and bed. Then we left early the next morning and headed for Noosa.

Apparently Noosa is the place to be "seen" and it is very popular with the richer Australians. Our first day there we walked round bought some food so we could cook rather than spend money on eating out. Then at our hostels bar it was Toga night so we all wrapped ourselves in bedsheets and went to the toga night. It was a good night with cheap booze so we were drinking cocktails all night. The second day we spent the whole day at the beach which was awesome. The others hired body boards and went in the sea while i sunbathed, 2 guys we met on the oz bus that are staying with us at the hostel came to the beach with us too. We stayed on the beach until about 5pm, just as we were leaving i spotted a fin in the sea - no it wasnt a shark! There were 5 dolphins swimming passed the

beach you could only make out their fins and backs but it was amazing! We had a quiet one that night stayed in and just chatted to people in the kitchen/tv room.

In the morning on our third and final day we went on the Noosa Thriller, which is a power boat it was great fun!!! It seats about 12 people you have life jackets, sit on a foam cylinder (you need it for the padding), and hold on to the handles in front of you. The boat goes 80km per hour smashing through the waves, and crashing back down the other side - i cant believe we all managed to stay in the boat - but it was really fun. When the boat turned it went almost completely on its side (which was bit scary). Then in the afternoon James went to the beach and us girls decided to do a 2 hour walk through Noosa national park because there are supposed to be loads of Koala's living there. We were innocently walking along one track and there was a man (about 55 years old) coming in the opposite direction with a towel wrapped around his waist. When

he saw us he whipped off his towel and threw it over his shoulder and walked passed us completely naked saying G'day! Then after we walked passed he called us asking for the time so we had to turn round and look at him again - It was not pretty!!! Next we had to walk over the nudest beach (obviously where he came from) to get to the next view point on cliff. It was a good walk but we didnt see any koala's and far too much of that man! Then in the evening we had good old British fish and chips and watched sunshine at the cinema. Today we are moving on to Brisbane.
