Back in the November of 2008, we embarked on an adventure that would take us out of everything that we were so familiar with, a comfortable life in the UK, friends, family and the English countryside. Lizards
I'm pretty sure that frill-necked lizard is really a simple bearded dragon (pogona). It doesn't have the characteristic frill. The one on the other picture looks like a bobtail lizard (tiliqua rugosa) to me, actually a species of blue-tongued skink (tiliqua), so both names are technically correct.

Happy Anniversary
Hello Andy and Caroline, Happy anniversary! I couldn't think of a better place to spend it! Can you believe it is over two years since we were there?! We saw quite a few koalas at the fort when we took a walk there from Nelly beach, and fish and chips at horseshoe bay is a wonderful place to watch the world go by. I hope you enjoy the remainder of your time there - speak soon, Steve.
