Magnetic Island

Today Thunder (quite appropriatly) drove us to Magnetic Island, still raining. Breakfast in Tully but as it was a Sunday it was dead. Apparently we stopped at the best ice-cream place in Australia, had a milkshake, it was ok. Before we got on the ferry we stopped in Townsville for an hour. we all wished it was longer because it was lovely there, quick food shopping then onto the ferry. This is where we met Sophie, bless her. The ferry took about 30mins and it was gorgeous when we got there. 5 mins from the ferry our hostel, Base, was clean and impressive. We went straight to the pool (Skinny, Sophie, Aus, Rebs and me) and stayed there. But I lost my room key. That night we were getting ready for an early night and we had a power cut. Air con off, lights out, and this is when my key decides to show up! Couldn't find it in the light!
