Mackay

After 7 hours of sailing we arrived into Mackay marina, on the way we passed about 20 cargo ships waiting for their turn into port.
We hired a car for 4 days and spend many hours shopping and visiting places near Mackay.
We drove up the coast through Seaforth, Airlie Beach, Proserpine and into Laguna Keys, very nice area.
While in the marina we had many Cappuccinos at Latitude 21 with many friends, and enjoyed the nice Pizzas as well.
The Catch, Shifting Sands, Interlude, My Panacea and many other we know were in the marina as well, so we met at the Sailing club for a meal and drinks.
Due to the weather we stayed in Mackay until the 24th waiting for the winds to calm down.
