Dear Family & Friends
We have now been on the road for 4 days... eventually left Nth Balwyn on Friday 21st. So far all is going well and we a getting into the swing of the “Camping Ground” life. Camping Ground life is a totally new experience for us and we are amazed at the friendliness of everyone. When speaking to others we realise what “novices” we are. There are a number of people who are travelling up the York Peninsula..it seems to be the flavour of the month.
Our Tvan has created much interest amongst everyone..people asking for inspection as they haven’t seen anything quite like it. It certainly is very comfortable for our needs and you don’t even know you are pulling something behind.
Our overnight stops so far: Parkes, Bourke, Charleville (lovely place and great camping ground) and now Longreach.. have decided to stay an extra night as there is much to see.
Due to weather conditions we have had to change our itinerary.. looks like we will have to give the early part of the Savannah Way a miss due to road closures. We will now be going to Mt Isa and across to the Stuart Highway then up to Daly Waters.
Weatherwise is has been beautiful (30c) We had 40 mls of rain last night and our little van stood up to it very well. Many others were flooded out.
Went to the Stockman’s Hall of Fame today, certainly well worth the visit. Tomorrow we intend to visit the QANTAS Museum.. where it all began.
Until next time.

great
Good to hear all is going so well. By the time you get to the next stop you will have well and truly adopted your mobile home. The QANTAS museum would be fascinating to see. Continue having fun and I'll look forward to more of your experiences. Love Joan

Great to hear from you and glad all is going well. I have read good things about the Tvans and yes I bet it's turning heads. As we assured you majority of Grey Nomads are good heplful people. How does it feel to be part of the GN community? If you have any difficulties at all Henry just flash one of your good reds you have tucked away and help will always be close by. keep the blogs coming, maybe a photo or two? The cooler weather is coming in, one day wet, one day perfect here in Noosa. Everyone keeping well, lots of love Jane xx
