ah bless he gave me a ciggie after both dives on first day... only had a little as felt wierd! Arrived and set up camp in the oldest hostel ever stayed in which is forty minutes away from my diving shop which is all good fun when have to get to shop for 6.45 in morning so yeah bec obviously not being the best morning person in the world is all good fun.... looking glamorous as per usual not!!!!
Anyway spent day on monday looking around reading course book 180pages of two chapters yey.... tuesday spent in classroom from 7am and then was in pool for six hours.... crinkled skin is extremely annoying! Today went diving in the sea!!! Yep I was 10metres first looking at coral and fish and then went to 14metres where proceeded in taking my mask off underwater and filling it back with air and taking out my regulator (breathing apparatus) underwater which is bloody scary stuff..... but saw a sea snake which gives a nasty bite if aggrevated, and a big 'waggle' shark as the aussies call it which is like a 15ft big cat fish shark thingy majig! lots of fantastic fish so loving it.... feel like i'm still on the damn boat now though! and tomorrow got a fun filled day of 18metre
boat
tiny little boat with eight people on! dives x2 with very strange floating stuff underwater trying to keep yourself at same level under water by just breath and doing a CESA which means you have run out of air and you need to get to surface and obviously can't take breath and can't hold breath either (as air in lungs will expand as ascend in water and your lungs could explode) so have to go to surface making an 'aaaahhhhh' sound..... sounds bloody scary to me! So better go rest up..... will let you know what i see and obviously if pass (or survive!!!!!) Instructor is amazing though reminds me of my dad so all good!
catch you later love bec xxxx
